Manchester Cathedral

Manchester Cathedral

Manchester Cathedral is a medieval church located on Victoria Street in central Manchester and the seat of the Bishop of Manchester. Opened by Queen Elizabeth II, the Visitor Centre is situated next to the cathedral's south porch, and includes a shop and an exhibition room.

The main attraction for tourists is Hanging Bridge - a 15th-century bridge that had not been seen by the public for over 100 years before being put on display in the Visitor Centre.

Services are still performed daily at the Cathedral.
