Escargots are back!

9.5.08

Mmmm escargots

Yes, it's that snaily time of year again and there's loads happening to keep escargot fans happy.

This year there're three ways to eat escargots - with garlic, spinach and mushroom or goat's cheese. Yum! In addition there's a chance to win prizes in our snail hunts happening in London, Manchester and Birmingham.

On May 24th twenty snails (terracotta ones rather than real ones) will be hidden close to Café Rouges in Covent Garden, Printworks and New Street and each one will have a sticker on its bottom giving the lucky folks who find them a free bottle of wine or champagne. There are also some golden snails (oooohhh)  - find one of those and you can win a case of wine or a meal for four at Café Rouge.

The limited edition snail dishes will only be available from May 19th until June 1st so don't delay!
