The Responsibility Deal on Health - what we're doing...

We note the Government's announcement concerning the Public Health Responsibility Deal and the associated announcement from the British Hospitality Association ("BHA") in respect of the part that the hospitality industry has to play in public health.  We know from our customer research that healthy living is a lifestyle choice that our customers want the option to embrace and we already have a range of healthier dishes in Café Rouge.

Our menus are regularly refreshed to ensure we are meeting customer needs with the right level of choice and nutritional information.  We will be reviewing the detail of the pledges that form the basis of the Government's Public Health Responsibility Deal to see how Café Rouge can best support the interests of its customers and in the next few months we will be introducing a range of dishes that are under 600 calories.  We are also working on making full calorie information in respect of the core elements of our menus available on the website by September 2011.

 Café Rouge is committed to providing customers with a range of dining options and will continue to review demand for nutritional information so customers can make an informed choice whilst ensuring the best possible dining out experience.
