Café Rouge will again be supporting Wine Relief as part of the Comic Relief fundraising in 2007

Café Rouge will again be supporting Wine Relief as part of the Comic Relief fundraising in 2007. 95 per cent of the Café Rouge wine list is sourced from France, including many lesser-known appellations and cuvées.  As the only on-trade company supporting the charity to date, Café Rouge will be donating 10 per cent of sales of two new wines in the five weeks running up to Red Nose Day on 16th March 2007.

The two wines, which are from the Languedoc region, have been selected by Café Rouge from leading French wine producer, Michel Laroche.

Laroche Terret 2005

A deliciously fresh white with nutty, spiced apple aromas and a soft, fruity palate with notes of peach and crisp, zesty acidity.

Laroche Grenache 2005

A juicy, unoaked wine, with soft red fruits on the palate, ripe tannins and a touch of spice.

Both wines will be available from 6th February, at £14.95 per bottle.
